K-12, Academic

Classroom Bldg. 7B

Originally designed as a one-story building, Classroom 7B was increased to two stories with features not typical in high school laboratories, such as fume hoods and lab prep rooms. The geothermal system provided challenges for the HVAC designers to meet the 100% fresh air requirements of the laboratories.

Classroom Bldg. 7C

Classroom 7C was an adaptation of Classroom 7B. Modifications were made to the plan to adapt the building for “Harkness Table” teaching. Each classroom is equipped with a Smart Board with individual servers creating individual websites for each teacher. All of these high-tech features were incorporated into the Organic architecture of Aaron Green.
