SUPERINTENDENT JOB DESCRIPTION

For a National Commercial General Contractor headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. We are looking for people who are self-starters and are motivated to succeed. At EDC, we are more than 70 people strong, with over 27 employees who have ownership stakes in the firm. Our company shareholders include leadership, project managers, superintendents, estimators, and administrative personnel.

EDC Superintendents are field-experienced and equipped with the latest technology including smartphones, tablets and laptop computers that allows them to provide real-time information to the entire project team. The ideal candidate will have extensive out of the ground experience in shopping centers, theaters, restaurants, self-storage, retail and/or senior living construction. Our Superintendents provide daily supervision including on-site safety, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and quality assurance. Qualifications include five or more years of industry experience. Must be tech savvy.

Based on individual job sites. Travel Required.

Experienced in working on: retail, out of the ground projects (theaters, shopping centers, grocery, multi-story self-storage, etc.)
