Who is EDC?
EDC, now a full-service construction firm that specializes in general contracting, was founded in 1990 with the objective of providing high-quality, client-focused construction management services. Shortly thereafter, EDC was awarded the ongoing development and construction management of a premiere office and research park in southwestern Virginia, that now houses over 1 million square feet and more than 25 buildings. Our work there continues today.

SERVICES
EDC is comprised of two major divisions: General Contracting and Development Management.
Our General Contracting division builds for a select group of local, national, and regional developers and end users. We help with budget development, scheduling, subcontractor prequalification, bid solicitation, project management, and more.
DELIVERY METHODS
EDC offers several project delivery options, as each project has its own unique challenges, details, and aims. We offer an assessment on each method’s pros and cons relative to your budget, design, and schedule. Select the method whose advantages maximize your goals for your project. No matter which method you choose, EDC draws on our extensive experience and deep knowledge base to protect your investment and help you meet your objectives.

EDC takes pride in the fact that we can work anywhere throughout the United States and still be very competitive with our pricing. We have a dedicated team of Superintendents who are willing to travel and build a quality product. Our extensive subcontractor database also allows us to build almost anywhere nationally.
