The Opportunity

EDC is seeking a Project Coordinator to work on various construction jobs around the United States. No travel is required. This job is for eager learners who are comfortable with shifting priorities and tasks ranging from administrative functions to accounts payable. Project Coordinators report to their assigned Project Manager and to the Accounting Manager.


What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with Project Managers on job bids, contracts, permits, closeouts, travel arrangements, correspondence, and overall facilitation of communication between Superintendents, subcontractors, and management teams.
  • Accurately process invoices and perform other accounts payable functions.
  • Organize, retain, and prepare all job correspondence such as permits, contracts, purchase orders, construction plans, and change orders.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents for all aspects of construction from start to finish of each job.
  • Work with proprietary information while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


What We Expect from You

  • General construction and accounting software knowledge is preferred; however, we will train the right person.
  • Proficient computer skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs.
  • Sage/Timberline and Procore systems knowledge preferred, but not required.
  • A keen attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
  • Must have permanent authorization to work in the US.
